Distress Ink Blending and Water Bleaching Effect

Hello fellow paper crafters! Today I have a card for you with some Distress Ink blending and the Paper Smooches Dainty Flowers 2 dies. I also use a fun gold spray bottle from Heidi Swapp.

First, I die cut a panel of Distress watercolor cardstock with one of the dies from the SSS Stitched Rectangle die set. I ink blended Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar Distress inks onto the cardstock.

I flicked some water onto the ink blending which created a bleaching effect on the paper. Also, I used the nozzle from the Heidi Swapp Gold Lame Color Shine spray to add gold paint onto my watercolor paper.

Then I die cut the flowers out of white cardstock and adhered them to the bottom of the ink blended piece. For the sentiment, I die cut the SSS Painted Thanks die out of white cardstock and adhered that onto the paper. Finally, I adhered the ink blended cardstock onto a white cardbase with some foam tape.

And that finishes the card for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
