Ink Blended Tri-Square Window with Copic Colored Critters

Hello everyone! I am sorry for being inactive and not posting. Life kind of got in the way, but I am back today with a card I made that was inspired by a card Laura Bassen made, and I will link to her card here.

First, I die cut three square windows out of some white cardstock with the SSS Tri-Square die. I stamped the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Party Animal stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Then I stamped my three animals from the Mama Elephant Lunar Animals stamp set in the same black ink onto some scrap white cardstock. I colored the animals with my Copics, and fussy-cut them them out, leaving a thin white trim around each animal.

Next, on my white cardbase I ink-blended three Distress Ink colors: Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, and Spiced Marmalade. I adhered the die cut panel onto the cardbase with some foam tape.

I adhered the animals in partly under and partly above the die cut panel to make them look like they were peeking out of the three windows. I find that really adorable! Finally, I rounded the top right corner of the card with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

And that finishes the card for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
